Steve, just want to make sure I've got the right place. Is the road up to the prision the one opposite a pretty big bus stop, and with a BBQ restaurant on it - runs parallel with the water (sea inlet).. I'll be riding over so want to make sure I've got the right meeting point.

Hi. Im out in HK from Malaysia around May 27th to 30th May 2010 and Im looking to hook up with someone local to show me the best trails in HK(for beginner i think) and also a place where I can rent a bike. Can anyone help me out? Im more than happy to return the favour and show someone from HK my local trails around Malaysia, if you ever come over. TQ

Hey,

I am from Malaysia and would be around in HK from March10 - Nov10. Would love to hook up with anyone who is riding weekends (beginner) who can show me some easy local trail as well as sharing a van.

I would be staying Sham Shui Po, Kowloon.

I'm a beginner.

As I have to work weekdays, I'll try to make it a weekly event to visit Hong Kong Island's Dragon's Back (contour section) on weekends.

It is nice to get away from the bad air in the city and just run the trail on the bike.

Drop me a note if you're heading to Dragon's Back. I'd like to join for the ride :cheer:

Hi ang, sure I'll be happy to ride dragon's back. I'm a beginner so I hope you don't mind some waiting.

One thing good about dragon's back is that it's pretty much biker free, good for practicing certain technical sections over and over.

I should be available to ride next weekend.

Dont worry, I'm a newbie too and I ride a hardtail.

I've only been to the ridge a few times and some of the drops are just too much for me so I'd just walk the bike :)

The flat contour trail is eaiser for me, hehe.

Im trying to get a group together to go to a place called TPS (Ting Ping Shan) on Sunday. The place looks like good fun for beginners to learn downhill and jumps.
