  • Hi All,

I am looking for a bike group in hk island for week end biking preferably short morning ride. For the pass one year I have stoped biking due to busy schedule. Now I got more free time in the week end and I would like to start biking again.

    Regards,

    Lawrence

I'm a beginner tho. You're welcomed to join the Sunday ride :)

  • Is that on road going to dragon's back? Honestly I find it very dangerous riding on Tai Tam road going to dragon's back. Basically HK road are all not bike friendly.
I usually ride in the island, like lamma, discovery bay, Lantau.

  • It's the only trail open to cycling on Hong Kong Island. It worths a try only if you're living close by

I live in Chai Wan district so I take the Cape Collison Road which is not busy.

If you go by Chai Wan Road (4 lanes), take the walking path (hidden to the left of the sidewalk of Tai Tam Road) to bypass the busy Tai Tam Road in order to reach Dragon's Back.

Agree that it is dangerous riding on Tai Tam road as there're lots of traffic and lots of heavy vehicles speeding by the narrow road.

  • It's just an old version Trek Fuel EX6. I need to setup a few things first this weekend before hitting the trail :)

Commencal 5.5, 140mm travel, more than enough for Dragon's Back.
