Yea, good to see you today :)

I'll see if I can take a Saturday off during the kid's Christmas break, my Commencal hasn't seen other trails yet

  • Sure!

Did 1/3 of Chi Ma Wan loop today, both ways (long story as to why only 1/3). Good trail, definitely worth trying, even though I dented my rim on a rock which led to a puncture.

  • Yeah, had a spare tube so it was OK. Dent not too large but will get it checked out. We should do that loop sometime though, it's great.

    Hi Glim,

How's the trip to Tai Mo Shan? Just curious how much is the hire-a-van for one way trip?

  • Got in to work (left the bikes in my office) and found that the rear tyre on the 29er is flat AGAIN! I suppose the dent may lead to a slow puncture each time.

More irritatingly, my +#@$ing folding bike's rear tyre punctured on the way to work AGAIN... jeez.

YW: take the tyre off the rim and use an adjustable wrench to remove the dent

ang: I think they pay 600 for the van ( drop off and pick up )
The ride was good , the TMS trail rocks ( literally ). I think it was hard going for Glim and Boost - even though it is not uphill it is a tough ride. I am sure they will have there own comments :-)

  • Yeah, I don't have any wrenches with me, will just take it back to the shop. Also need to get them to check the folder's rim anyway, absolutely no reason for it to puncture so often, at around the same point on my commute, and when the rim tape has been changed twice!

Great to hear TMS rocks. I met some other cool MTBers on Saturday, we can arrange a mass outing at some point.
