  • 29er's and fun... whodathunkit?! Anyway, for reasons of being skint... am selling my Canfield Brothers "Yelli Screamy" 29er MTB. You may know Canfield Brothers for making really mad downhill bikes, with Lance Canfield having been an actual competitor at Redbull Rampage!

The Yelli was the first of the "short and slack" (short chainstay, slack headangle) 29ers taking advantage of long travel forks, which at the time meant anything over 100mm.

I've got a "rather mad" Fox 34 150mm/120mm Talas fork on there, which the Canfield Brothers have confirmed is safe as "the Yelli is built like a tank, without weighing like one". Said fork is less than 3 months old and I got it off someone who had a warranty replacement Niner WFO, though decided to go 650B! Oh... at 150mm, the static head-angle is a super low 66.5deg., and at 120mm, it's 68deg. Woooh! B)

Frame product page is here: canfieldbrothers.com/frames/yelli-screamy

    Full spec:

Tyres: Front, Schwalbe Hans Dampf EVO 29x2.4 Trailstar; Rear, Schwalbe Hans Dampf EVO 29x2.4 Pacestar

Cost north of HK$40k to built up and I would rather see it go to a nice new owner as a complete bike, rather than parting it out. I'm looking for around HK$28k... obviously you may bid more ( :P ) though I will consider sensible offers of less...bike needs to go. It absolutely rips down "Black Diamond" Ho Pui trail and I reckon it'll be ace around Lamma Project X too. Weight is around 27~28lb (12.2~12.7kg)... rides lighter than it is though!

This will also be listed on 28bike, however I figure this bike is way to much fun to be wasted on local MAMILs-cum-roadbike-converts. Those interested either reply to this thread or message me.

    29er's can't jump? It CAN when it's a Canfield Yelli... :P
