SRAM LAUNCHES ITS NEW HI-END XX GROUPSET

For months it has been widely trailed on the Internet, but finally SRAM’s all new and super high-end XX groupset is here. 

Targeted for cross-country riding, XX does away with the usual 3x9 drivetrain configuration instead opting for a 2 x 10 speed platform that inherits lots of design features from the current top-of-the-line  - Red groupset.

According to SRAM, it was conceived to be the "lightest and best fully featured and fully adjustable" package available. It took the design expertise of SRAM shifting, RockShox suspension, Avid braking, and Truvativ engineering working together for two years to create the lightest, most technically advanced groupset to date.

Total weight for a nine-piece group is sub-2300g tha’ts over 300g lighter than Shimano XTR range.

The official launch of XX will take place at this August, but XX is already proving itself to be a top contender. Only last weekend Julien Absalon won the Madrid World Cup race using it.
