A helmet and a bike is good enough.

However, I wear elbow, knee & shin guards for additional protection.

Cool. Would love to come, but despite my efforts, have not been able to get clearance from "the boss". :(

WIll try and do it next weekend. Hopefully the weather will be OK then.

The Dragon's Back trip is a quick half-day trip which we can all go home for lunch by 1pm. Although the trail is short (6km), it's a good workout for both newbie and experience rider.

Dragon's Back is only half an hour (uphill) from MTR station, I cant complain :)

Estimated Time & Place:
08:30 Lin Shing Road ~ onroad uphill climb, few traffic on Cape Collison Road
09:00 Shek O Road
09:15 Safety check ~ protective gear; lower seatpost, tyre pressure etc
09:30 Trail head
10:00 To Tei Wan ~ rest stop
10:15 To Tei Wan ~ return
10:45 Trail head
11:00 Shek O Road / Tai Tam Road
11:30 Chai Wan Road
11:45 Chai Wan MTR Station

If there is beginner joining and needs to hike-a-bike in every rock section; then it'll take longer and I'll wait for the new guys.

Moreover, the faster guys can go first as the contour trail is relatively flat and easy.

Am very tempted to join you given this brilliant weather. However, I need to do some work that day. Do you think we'll be done by around 1pm?

Hi, I would also like to join you guys riding in Shek O. I'm 17 but have good experience riding in Hong Kong. Never ridden in Shek O before so should be fun.
Keep me updated on the time and date you are planning to go.

Thanks
